Hello, I’m Sarah.
Photographer, Spinal Energetics practitioner and yoga teacher.
Spinal Energetics 1:1
Spinal Energetics is a body-led practice working with the nervous system, breath and the body’s natural intelligence to communicate. By creating space to listen, your body can begin to move, shift and respond in its own way (given the space, your body knows what to do.)
Who is it for?
You don’t need to have a particular problem to come. You might feel disconnected from your body, carry stress or tension, feel stuck in a pattern or chapter of life, or simply sense that something is ready to shift.
What to expect
We begin with time to arrive, talk and settle in. You’ll then lie comfortably, fully clothed, while I tune into your body and follow its cues, using touch and energetic interaction to support what is naturally unfolding.
You might experience movement, changes in breathing, tingling, warmth, emotion, physical sensations, moments of stillness or a heightened awareness of your inner landscape. Every session is different, because every body is different.
We finish gently, with time to come back, notice what you experienced and allow things to settle.
Your session
60 minutes · £85
Sessions take place at The Studio, Bishopswood, in a quiet, intimate setting or outside if the weather allows.
Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move and breathe easily in.
29th August , 7 - 9pm - At the Studio (in Bishopswood - close to Ross on Wye & Forest of Dean)
I envision this evening as a monthly anchor point - one that will grow into a group of supportive humans, creating, making and inspiring each other to dream bigger!
Bring your creative bits and bobs, it doesn’t matter what it is. It could be your sketchbook, knitting, anything you are making currently, a half finished project, or something you’ve been meaning to start.
If you don’t have anything, don’t worry. I’ll bring a collection of materials and bits to experiment with.
There’ll be tea, and you’re welcome to bring snacks.
We’ll give ourselves the freedom to play, be inspired and learn from each other, listen to music, chat, or just zone into your own genius/world.
A way of getting in touch with your unique expression, to let it come through form, colour, texture etc
To finish, we’ll put down our creations, and unwind with a gentle stretch before we drop into stillness.
The plan:
Arrival - Tea, music, snacks & settling in
Creative Circle - Bring something to work on, or use the materials provided
Gentle Movement - A gentle stretch and breath
Savasana - Let it all go, and drop into stillness
Hopefully you’ll leave feeling creatively full, and deeply rested!
Sunset Yoga on May Hill 🌞
Thursday 3rd September 7:15- 8:30pm
10 spaces available
Join me for a special sunset yoga practice on May Hill. Famous for its distinctive clump of trees at the summit and beautiful views. It’s the perfect place to finish the day with a good flow watching the sun go down.
We’ll meet at the summit, which is approximately a 10 minute walk from the main parking area. Please allow enough time to make your way up before the class begins.
We’ll flow through an uplifting Vinyasa yoga practice finishing with a long savasanah and guided meditation accompanied by the sounds of crystal singing bowls.
This is a relaxed, welcoming class where you’re invited to move at your own pace.
What to bring:
A yoga mat
A blanket or extra layer for relaxation
Drink of choice
Comfy clothing and suitable footwear for the short walk to the summit
Please note: This is an outdoor event and is weather dependent. If the weather isn’t on our side an alternative date will be arranged.
